The Elba facility should never be described as the Coffee County booking jail. It is a state facility with ADOC rules, ADOC money channels, ADOC digital mail, and state inmate search records.
Coffee County Jail Booking
Coffee County did not publish a local jail booking checklist or online posting timetable. A careful Alabama-local custody path is arrest, jail intake, booking entry, classification, first appearance or probable-cause review, bond or hold decision, and either release, continued local custody, transfer, or court disposition. ADOC Elba has separate state-level rules. ADOC uses Access Secure Deposits for money, CorrLinks for digital messages, ICSolutions for inmate communications beginning August 1, 2025, and digital personal mail beginning October 27, 2025. Those state prison rules should not be applied to Coffee County Jail unless the jail confirms them.
